With the Dallas Cowboys boasting a string of victories not seen around these parts since 1977, it's no surprise that QB Dak Prescott received more than a few votes among this week's nominations for the 2016 Dallas Morning News Texan of the Year. Heck, things are going so sweetly for the Cowboys that one reader even nominated coach Jason Garrett, which certainly hasn't occurred in my memory. But back to Dak.
